Explore Carmel-by-the-Sea with a local artist as your private guide, with behind-the-scenes access to working artist studios and galleries. Meet local artists, hear the stories behind Carmel’s history as an artist colony, and discover hidden courtyards, creative spaces, and local gems along the way. Enjoy a relaxed, personally curated experience, along with a locally made treat and a tasting-room beverage. You’ll also receive a complimentary original art keepsake from your artist host. Meeting details will be provided by email and text before your tour. October Schedule: 11:00 AM & 3:00 PM start times.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy Cancellations or rescheduling are available up to 48 hours before your tour for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable. If you have an unexpected situation, please contact us—we’ll always do our best to help. Dog-Friendly Tour Policy Well-behaved dogs are welcome on private tours with advance notice. Please indicate on your booking form if you’ll be bringing a dog. Dogs must be under their owner’s control and kept on a leash when visiting artist studios and other public locations. Some artists have dogs of their own, so please let us know if your dog is uncomfortable around other dogs. Up to two dogs may join the tour.
