What to Know Before You Go

Guests travel between stops in their own vehicle, with your artist host guiding the way and meeting you at each easy-to-find and mapped location.

Discovery Tours are designed for 1–4 guests. Larger groups can be accommodated by advance arrangement, with private chauffeured experiences also available.

Routes include short drives and also walking between close locations too! Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Studio stops are thoughtfully selected to showcase a variety of artists, mediums, and creative spaces, while offering easy access and convenient free parking.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the Carmel Discovery Driving Tour with at least 48 hours' advance notice. We’ll tailor the route to include dog-friendly artist studios and stops.
