Lisa Fernald Barker is a Northern California artist whose work has been represented by SLATE Contemporary, the SFMOMA Artists’ Gallery, and nationally by Serena & Lily. Her paintings have been exhibited throughout Northern California and are held in private and corporate collections across the country.

With a longtime passion for art education and creative communities, Lisa has taught painting workshops, led interactive exhibitions, and served as Chair of the Capitol Artists Studio Tour. When traveling in Europe, one of her favorite ways to discover a new place is through tours that bring its history and art history to life — uncovering the stories behind the artists, architecture, and places along the way.

That spirit of discovery, combined with her experience bringing artists and audiences together, inspired Art Tours by the Sea — a new way to share the artists, studios, history, and special places that make California’s coastal communities unique.
